Hey Guys! I’m Jeanine. A Physiotherapist by day and a photographer by night… or by weekends.
I’m 25 years old and located in Southern Manitoba. I grew up in the prairies and don’t really plan on leaving. I really enjoy a strong cup of coffee, running on flat land, and discovering new places with the hubs. I like taking photos of nature almost as much as taking photos of people. The best is when I get to combine the two.
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
A lot of you have asked how I got into the beautiful art of photography. Its always been somewhat of a passion but it really deepened the year I graduated from high school. One head injury and a missed trip to Europe left me at home with a bit of extra cash… and so I bought my first ever DSLR. camera. The amount of photos that have been taken since then kind of make me sick. Over the last 6 years I have used photography as my creative outlet while studying Physical Therapy.
Yes, I do. When I get to combine my two passions of travelling and photography I am one happy bird. I have travelled throughout Manitoba to capture peoples love stories. This wonderful passion took me to Mexico this past November (see blog). Anyways I'm down to travel across Canada and beyond (except the USA because I hear work visas are pretty hard to come by).
Although most of my business comes from southern Manitoba, I do travel beyond for photography. So if you are in Winnipeg or outside of Manitoba, hit me up! Lets do this thing.
For those of you who know me through my other job (physical therapy), you'll know that I LOVE educating people about their health. Well I just love educating to be honest. Mentor sessions are super fun, and a great way to learn and gain experience. So if you have any questions don't be afraid to email me!
Unfortunately I am no longer doing new born sessions as my second job has taken up my days when I'm not shooting. Maybe one day once I have some little nuggets of my own my passion will change, but for now I'm making time for what I can.
